Your darkness is trying to lead you to the new light!
Your darkness is trying to lead you to the new light!

When we go through dark times we want to get back to our old life when things were better.

But difficulties happen in order to lead us to a new life, not back to our old life.

Suppressing symptoms by medicating them, blissing them out, toughing through them, or just praying they’ll go away is fine but it doesn’t lead one to the promised land of the light.

To do this, seek to discover the transformative wisdom in the problem instead of just trying to get rid of it.

Here’s a simple beginning:

Imagination is the bridge between your conscious and subconscious mind.

Trust it even if it doesn’t make sense at first.

Don’t kill it with beliefs or rationality.

Step outside the problem and imagine you’re its creator.

You’re the supernatural force behind it.

You’re the intelligence in fate.

Look at yourself from the outside and sense / intuit the reason you’ve given this person this particular problem.

Don’t project preconceived negative beliefs into the process, ie. “I’m giving her this problem to punish her;” or “I’m giving him pain because he deserves it.”

A problem is a growth process, not a punishment!

What challenge are you giving this person?

How does he / she need to change and grow?

What deep blind spot are you trying to wake the person up about?

In what way are you trying to get them to actualize their full potential?

How are you trying to enlighten them!?
